Some photos I came across of last spring. The boyfriend, the dog and the mom all went out with me to visit some blooming desert flowers. The desert bloom rarely happens and doesn’t stay for long when it does. It was beautiful. The whole area smelled like a botanical, herbal garden. It was a two day adventure. Day one: Popeys! Day two: Desert Super Bloom. On our way home we went wine tasting and made some new animal friends along the way. There is so much more to Southern California beyond the big cities and beautiful beaches. Over the last hand full of years I have come to deeply appreciate the vastness and mystery of the south western landscape.
