I might be a little obsessed with sun flares.  O.K., maybe a lot.  I shot this photo a while ago when I was still learning how to catch a sun flare in my lens.  This was my first  real success!  I took this photo of a dear, long time friend back when I was borrowing faces for some practice.  I really can’t say this enough, If it wasn’t for the support and enthusiasm of the people around me, I probably would not have come as far in the time that I have.  This photo was mostly spontaneous luck and it’s one of my favorites.  It represents a lot.  (Yes, much more than a sun flare obsession!) It represents a discovery that, in the grand scheme of things, I never really gave much thought to, ’till that one chilly February morning when I woke up and decided to give this a try…  and glad I have.
