Carole and I have an affinity for the desert and hiking. When planning for this shoot I shot out the Malibu Mountains or Joshua Tree for location ideas; secretly hoping Carole would be as excited and up for a mini road trip to the desert as I was. Her reply: “JOSHUA TREE!” And so we went! It was a lovely November day and Carole’s graceful, free spirited energy is amazing to photograph.
